Catholic Relief Services: Our Common Home

Climate Change, from Catholic Relief Services is a comprehensive educational and advocacy guide to the moral obligation of the Catholic community to take action to address climate change. Espousing Pope Francis's teaching that our attitude towards the protection of the Earth is directly tied to the protection of the world's most vulnerable populations, this guide contains personal stories of climate change victims, and outlines what we as individuals can do to help. It can be viewed here.

Caring for Our Common Home, 2015

Catholic Climate Covenant’s 2015 Feast of St. Francis program, “Caring for Our Common Home,” explores how to
understand and apply Pope Francis’s encyclical on ecology and climate change. The encyclical is titled Laudato Si’, or, in English, Praised Be: On The Care of Our Common Home.

This program guide contains everything you need to host an event. This guide refers to a parish, but can be equallywell used by a youth group, university, religious community, or any group that is interested in exploring Laudato Si’.

Sun Come Up, 2012

On behalf of all of the partners of the Catholic Climate Covenant, we thank you for your willingness to join thousands of other Catholics and people of goodwill to share in this nationwide screening event with your community.

Climate change is no longer an abstraction for many, especially those already vulnerable to nature’s unpredictability: poor people at home in the United States and millions abroad. For them, climate change is a threat multiplier: making their difficult lives even tougher.
